Struggling Dallas Stars came up big last night when they met Detroit Red Wings in Dallas. Dallas goalie Marty Turco was impressive as the experienced goaltender stopped 37 shots to win the game for the Stars. Detroit was 10-2-2 before this match on road and despite taking the lead in the 1st period they could not get passed Turco and Stars won the game 3 to 1.
